NEW ORLEANS, La. – Loyola University New Orleans head volleyball coach Tommy Harold announced the addition of Haley Crane to the Wolfpack volleyball squad on Sunday. Crane is Loyola’s fourth member of the incoming class as she joins Katie Hamilton, Kaitlin Mohr, and Kaylin Storey.
“Aside from having very good volleyball skills, Haley has got the intangibles we look for,” said Harold. “Her goals and mindset are in the right place and I believe, based on what I've seen, she is going to work hard in the gym to achieve those goals. Everyone I've talked to about her said that she is a kid who will do whatever it takes to improve. Those kids are the most fun to work with, so I can't wait to get her on campus. Haley should be a great fit for the team and the University at large.”
Crane, a 5-10 setter from Long Island, New York, was a two-time starter and captain of the Long Beach High School varsity volleyball team. In 2010 and 2011, she guided her squad to the County Finals. Crane also was dubbed a team captain for her club team, Ace Long Island.
