KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ryan Brock, a senior men’s basketball player for Loyola University New Orleans, was named to the 2010-11 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball All-America Second Team, as announced by the NAIA national office.
Brock, a native of New Orleans, led his team and was the fourth-leading scorer in NAIA Division I, averaging 22.2 points per game. Brock also led the Wolfpack in rebounds (5.1), assists (3.3) and steals (1.7) per game.
Brock finished his Loyola career in second place on the all-time scoring list, scoring 1706 points in a Wolfpack uniform. He also pulled down 359 rebounds and handed out 231 assists over his three seasons with the ‘Pack.
The All-America recognition caps off a season that saw Brock being named SSAC Divisional Player of the Year and being added to the All-SSAC Team.
Brock’s Second Team honor follows his being named to the Third Team in 2009-10.
