RUSTON, La. - Loyola University men's basketball player Ryan Brock has been named to the All-Louisiana First Team, as announced by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Brock was put up some of the top offensive numbers in the nation. He was fourth in NAIA Division I in scoring with 22.2 points per game. He also led the team in rebounds (5.1), assists (3.3) and steals (1.7) per game.

Brock had the seventh highest points total in school history in 2010-11, scoring 556 points. Brock now has three of the seven highest scoring seasons in Loyola history.

Brock finished his Loyola career in second place on the all-time scoring list with 1706 points, despite playing just three seasons for the Wolfpack.

Brock joins Anatoly Bose (Nicholls State), Kendall Timmons (Tulane), Pat Richard (McNeese State) and Olu Ashaolu
(Louisiana Tech) as members of the First Team.

Brock's All-Louisiana honor comes after he was named to the 2010-11 NAIA Division I All-America Second Team, the SSAC All-Conference Team and the SSAC All-Tournament Team. He was honored with multiple Jesuit Basketball Spotlight and SSAC Player of the Week awards, and was named the SSAC West Division Player of the Year.
