Robert Lovaglio was named third team All-Louisiana by the LSWA

(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans forward Robert Lovaglio was named third team All-Louisiana Men’s Basketball Team for the 2012-13 season by the Louisiana Sports Writer’s Association on Saturday. The All-Louisiana team was voted on by a panel of media members and sports information directors from across the state.

Lovaglio, a 6’5” forward from Winter Park, Florida, made the third team as he averaged 19.7 points per game and 6.7 rebounds a night. Lovaglio ranked 13th in the NAIA in points per game and 15th in total points as he scored 590, which is the fifth highest mark in a season in Wolf Pack history. He also averaged 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals a game. He was second on the team in rebounds, assists, and steals.

Lovaglio was also named to the SSAC All-Conference first team and a NAIA 3rd team All-American. Lovaglio was an honorable mention to last year’s team.
