Loyola baseball adds weekend series with Judson

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Loyola University New Orleans today announced the addition of four games to the its baseball team's schedule for this upcoming weekend.

Judson University, located in the Chicago suburb of Elgin, Ill., will play a pair of double-headers at Segnette Field. The first will begin on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m., with the second game to begin a half-hour after game one ends. The first pitch of game three will be Sunday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m., with the series finale to follow.

The Wolfpack (2-2) will host the Eagles (0-0) for its second non-conference home series. The 'Pack played the Brescia Bearcats last weekend, earning a split. George Smith and Jeffery Castille each earned wins from the mound for the 'Pack.

Karson Cullins and Ryan Scott are leading the way on offense for the Wolfpack. Cullins batted 6-for-12 on the weekend, tallying five RBIs and scoring five runs. Scott reached base 11 times in the four games, driving in three and scoring six runs.

LU home games are played at Segnette Field in Westwego. Tickets are just $6 for adults and $3 for youth and senior citizens, and may be purchased at the gate. Loyola student, faculty, and staff are free with a valid Loyola ID.
