(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans will host a postgame fireworks promotion after the Friday, March 8 baseball game against Belhaven at Segnette Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The event is a collaboration between the sophoMORE Initiative, the Student Government Association, and Athletics and Wellness. Loyola faculty, staff and students can purchase tickets prior to the event for $5 which includes admission to the game, transportation from campus as well as food and drink. Tickets for the Loyola community can be purchased in the Danna Center, Buddig Hall, and Carrollton Hall on campus. Buses will begin to load at 5:15 p.m. in the turnaround by Carrollton Hall on the Loyola campus.
“We would like to thank the sophMORE initiative, the Student Government Association, and the Loyola Alumni Association for helping us put together this fantastic night of fireworks on March 8. Our team is looking forward to seeing the Loyola community our at the ballpark,” said Loyola head baseball coach Doug Faust.
Admission to Loyola baseball games for the general public is $6 for adults. Senior citizens, military, and children between the ages of 12-18 are $3. Children under the age of 12 are free.
Segnette field is located behind the Alario Center off the Westbank Expressway in Westwego.
