(Gulfport, Miss.) The Loyola University New Orleans men’s golf team placed 15th at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Fall Invitational.
The Wolf Pack finished day one with a team score of 335. They showed improvement as a group on day two, combining for a 319 finish. Loyola completed the tournament with a two-day total of 654.
Freshman Keith Burkard turned in the best individual performance for the men’s squad for the second consecutive tournament. He shot a 76 on day one and added three strokes to his first round score on day two, ending the invitational with a 155 to tie for 34th place out of 89 golfers overall.
The MGCCC Fall Invitational concludes fall tournament action for the men’s golf team. They will resume competition in the spring season.
