NEW ORLEANS – Loyola University New Orleans men’s basketball team will continue their rivalry with next door neighbor Tulane University as the Wolf Pack and Green Wave meet in the annual Battle of Freret Street Tuesday night at Devlin Fieldhouse. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Festivities begin on the Loyola campus with a Pep Rally at 5 p.m. There will be plenty of activities, including an appearance by Loyola’s own mascot, Havoc. At 6:45 p.m., fans will second line to Tulane for the tip off.
Loyola students can purchase tickets for the game in the residence halls, Danna Center or University Sports Complex for $10. Tickets include admission to the game, t-shirt, and a Coca-Cola squeeze bottle while supplies last. Students on the meal plan can utilize their plan for dinner at the Pep Rally. Those not on the meal plan can pay $5 for dinner.

Loyola split a pair of games over the weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida. On Friday, Rob Lovaglio had a career high 38 points, but Loyola fell to Embry-Riddle 73-68. On Saturday, McCall Tomeny hit a last second shot as the Wolf Pack defeated Webber International 78-77. Loyola is 5-3 on the season.
Tulane comes into the tilt with a 4-2 record. The Green Wave downed Southern, 68-65, on Saturday night in Devlin Fieldhouse. The trio of Josh Davis, Jordan Callahan, and Ricky Tarrant combined to score 52 points.
