Loyola men’s tennis falls to Xavier

(New Orleans, La.) The Loyola University New Orleans men’s tennis team fell to Xavier University of Louisiana 7-2 Wednesday afternoon at the Xavier Tennis Center. The Gold Rush are ranked #8 in the latest NAIA men’s tennis top 25 poll.

“It was a good match for us. We competed well and I thought our guys stepped up to the level of competition. This was a good test for us in preparation for conference play this weekend,” said Loyola head coach Zubin Engineer.
