(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball coach Tommy Harold announced the signing of Wren Overesch to the 2013 recruiting class.

Overesch comes to Loyola after earning four letters as an outside hitter at Austin (Texas) High School. She was a three time All-District selection and was named to the Under Armour High School All-American Watch List. She was voted Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year for the Maroons. Overesch was also named Academic All State this year.

"We are extremely excited to have Wren join the Wolf Pack family. She is a dynamic hitter who is able to play six rotations as an outside and is able to terminate from a variety of angles with her high contact point. She will challenge for playing time immediately and skill sets to be an impact player in our league," said Harold.

Overesch’s club volleyball team made six USAV National appearances, earning a Silver Medal in 2011 and a Bronze Medal in 2007.

Overesch is the third member of the 2013 signing class for the Wolf Pack as she joins Ainsley Marroccoli and Katie Philippi in donning the Maroon and Gold.
