(New Orleans, La.) The Loyola University New Orleans women’s basketball team will cap a busy four days with an exhibition contest against Tulane University Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Devlin Fieldhouse in the Battle for Freret Street.
The University community is invited to attend a pre-game tailgate in the Peace Quad on Loyola’s campus. Fans can enjoy food from local food trucks as well as button and poster making and music from DJ Coolhand. Around 5 p.m., a brass band will lead Wolf Pack fans in a second line across the street to the game.
Loyola student tickets for the game are $5 and can be purchased on Monday in the Danna Student Center as well as at the pre-game festivities. The first 100 students will receive a $5 coupon to be used at any food truck. Alumni tickets are $10 and include a ticket to the game and $5 coupon for food.
The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but was moved to 5:30 p.m. Tickets purchased prior to the time change and have the 7 p.m. time listed are still valid.
Prior to Monday’s tilt with Tulane, the Wolf Pack (3-8, 1-3 SSAC) will host a pair of conference foes. On Friday, Truett McConnell College (1-10, 0-3) visits The Den with tip off slated for 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, Southern Wesleyan University (5-6, 0-3) comes to campus for a 3 p.m. contest.
