Loyola women’s tennis season ends in first round of conference tournament

 (Montgomery, Ala.) The Loyola University New Orleans women’s tennis season came to an end as the Wolf Pack fell to the NAIA No. 4-ranked Auburn University Montgomery, 9-0 in the first round of the Southern States Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Championship at AUM this afternoon.

The Wolf Pack entered the tournament as the No. 8 seed. They concluded the 2014 season 6-13, 4-7 SSAC, earning the most overall wins in a season in program history. The No. 1 seed Warhawks will face the winner of the No. 4 seed William Carey and No. 5 seed University of Mobile match up.
