NEW ORLEANS, La. – Loyola University New Orleans head coach Tommy Harold announced the addition of Kaitlin Mohr for the fall 2012 season last Friday. Mohr will be joining Katie Hamilton on next season’s recruiting class.
“We are extremely excited to have Kaitlin become a member of the Wolfpack family,” said head coach Tommy Harold. “Her abilities on the court will add speed to our offense and her enthusiasm for the game will help push her teammates to new heights. We feel that Kaitlin will not only be a great addition to the team but to the Loyola community as well. She is an honor student and coming from a Jesuit High School we know she will be well prepared.”
Mohr, a 6-0 middle blocker will join the ‘Pack in the fall after a stellar high school career at Loyola Academy in Williamette, Ill. At Loyola Academy Mohr was a three-year starter for the Ramblers and lead the team to the regional championships in 2009 and 2011. She also garnered first team All-Conference in both her junior and senior years.
On the club scene, Mohr competed with the Edge Volleyball Club out of Mt. Prospect, Ill. as a middle blocker and an outside hitter.
