Two runners sign with Loyola for 2009

New Orleans, La. – Hannah Dougherty and Christopher Gragnard have signed with Loyola to compete in cross country and track under head coach Andy Canegitta for the upcoming 2009 season.

Dougherty joins Loyola after attending high school in Seattle, Washington at the Academy of Arts and Science. At SAAS, Dougherty lettered four years in track for the Cardinals and won a 4x100 state title. She also lettered four years in soccer where her team won two state championships. Dougherty will study psychology at Loyola.

Gragnard, a graduate of St. Charles in LaPlace, Louisiana, lettered three years for the cross country and track teams. Gragnard plans on majoring in management or accounting at Loyola.
