Harper and Knoblach to join Loyola Cross Country and Track

New Orleans, La. – Loyola cross country and track head coach Andy Canegitta has signed his seventh and eighth recruit, Kieran Harper of Kings Park, New York, and Slidell native Jenna Knoblach, to his 2009 recruiting class.

Kieran Harper lettered for the Kingsman in cross country and indoor track. While at Kings, he led the cross country team to a league championship and was also named first team all-league. Harper, a scholar athlete, will study finance/economics at Loyola.

As a member of the 4x400 team at Northshore, Jenna Knoblach helped break the school record twice. For the Panthers, Knoblach was a state qualifier in cross country and also played soccer. Knoblach, a member of the National Honors Society, will major in fine arts and English at Loyola.
