Cross Country and Track welcomes Hearns and Tsao

New Orleans, La. – Loyola cross country and track head coach Andy Canegitta announced the signings of Clare Hearns and Kenny Tsao. Canegitta’s class for the upcoming season now stands at ten.

Clare Hearns attended Mount Saint Dominican Academy in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where she ran both cross country and track for the Lady Lions. In 2007 and 2008, she was an honorable mention in conference. In the class room, Hearns earned Second Honors from 2006-09.

Kenny Tsao prepped at Springbrook High in Silver Spring, Maryland. Tsao lettered three years in track, two years in cross country, and was a member of the co-ed volleyball team for the Blue Devils. Last season, he ran a personal best 2:07 in the 800m. Tsao will study music education at Loyola.
