Loyola volleyball picks up GCAC opener over SUNO

New Orleans, La. - The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team opened up GCAC play at The Castle at SUNO on Tuesday night and came away with a 3-0 victory.

The Wolfpack (3-2, 1-0 GCAC) took the first two games 25-10. Gina Gill led the way with eight kills in the first game, while Kailey Tuthill had four aces in the second.

In the third game, Loyola sealed the match over the Lady Knights (0-3, 0-2 GCAC), winning 25-12. Rachael Roth had four kills in the game, and finished with nine total for the night.

Loyola returns to action on September 11 at 2 p.m. against Birmingham Southern at the
Rhodes Tournament in Memphis, Tennessee.
