New Orleans, La. – Nate Singleton has joined the Loyola University New Orleans women’s basketball staff as the new strength and conditioning coach.
Singleton graduated from Grambling State University where he played football under the legendary coach Eddie Robinson. He continued his football career in the NFL, playing for teams such as the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, and most notably, the 1994 Super Bowl Champion San Francisco 49ers.
After retiring from the NFL, Singleton became a speed, strength, and agility coach. He then started his own business, Singleton Sports Performance, where he trains numerous professional and collegiate athletes.
“We are very excited about the addition of Nate,” said women’s head coach Kellie Kennedy. “He is highly respected in his field and there is no doubt that he will bring enthusiasm, work ethic, and knowledge to this program.”
