New Orleans, La. – The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team faced the SUNO Lady Knights at The Den on Friday night and came away with a 3-0 victory.

The Wolfpack had no trouble taking the first two sets, 25-8 and 25-13. In the last game, the Lady Knights hung tough with Loyola, who was playing mostly reserves, but the Wolfpack would end the match with a 25-19 win.

Loyola (8-6) improves their conference record to 4-0 to stay atop the GCAC, while SUNO (0-8) drops to 0-6.

Loyola returns to action tomorrow (Oct. 3) when they square off against the Dillard Lady Bleu Devils at 1 p.m. for a Saturday afternoon match. As part of Girl Scout Day at The Den, after the match the Wolfpack volleyball team will be holding a skills clinic for scouts in attendance.
