William Carey University scored seven runs in the first four innings to help propel them to a 9-3 victory over Loyola University New Orleans on a rain soaked Segnette Field on Friday night.
Loyola outfielder Karson Cullins had a grand slam and seven RBI’s in game one of a doubleheader against Tougaloo College as Loyola won 13-4. Tougaloo took game two 13-3 at the Coleman Sports Complex.
Loyola University New Orleans lost 5-0 and 8-2 in a doubleheader against Belhaven University on Saturday afternoon at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi.
Loyola used a walk off single from Cullins with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th to take game 1 from Spring Hill College 2-1. The Wolf Pack fell 9-3 in game 2 at Segnette Field on Saturday afternoon.
Loyola took a 1-0 lead in the second inning but Spring Hill College fought back to win game one of the three game baseball set 5-1 on Friday evening at Segnette Field.
