NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Loyola University New Orleans men’s basketball team has been selected as the 2011-12 Buffalo Funds Five Star Champions of Character Team. The NAIA presents the award to one team at the end of the season for each of the 23 championship sports.

Kansas City, Mo. – Earlier today, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2011-12 Division I Men’s Basketball All-America Teams, with Loyola’s Corey Gray named to the Honorable Mention List.

Rome, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced Loyola’s Chris Joseph to the Musco Lighting Champions of Character Team. In addition, Joseph, along with Dylan Kremer, Manuel Gandara, and Steve Davis, were announced to the 2011-12 All-Academic Team.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Loyola University New Orleans men’s basketball standout Robert Lovaglio added another award to his season when the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities announced him to the Jesuit Honor Roll
