The Loyola University New Orleans women’s basketball team notched their second consecutive victory with a 76-66 win over Louisiana College in The Den Tuesday night.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Annie Hills, Denise Powell, Michael Corso, and Paul Freese earned the honors for Loyola University New Orleans.

Annie Hills, Francesca Vaccaro, Kennedi Henneberger and Paul Freese competed for Loyola University New Orleans at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships on November 23 at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas.
Hills, Vaccaro, Henneberger and Freese will compete for Loyola at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships. The meet will be held at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas on Nov. 26th with the men’s race slated for 10:30 a.m. and the women’s competition starting at 11:45 a.m.
Four Loyola University New Orleans cross country runners qualified for the NAIA National Cross Country meet Saturday at the SSAC Championship meet. The Championship meet was held at Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Mississippi.
