Director of Athletics and Wellness Brett Simpson announced the hiring of Jonathan Wojciechowski as Associate Athletic Director. Wojciechowski ventures to Loyola after four years with the Southern States Athletic Conference and most recently a year at the University of West Florida.
(New Orleans, La.) The Loyola University New Orleans Volleyball team begins the 2014 season in Houston this weekend at the University of St. Thomas Labor Day Tournament. The Pack will play two matches on Friday and two on Saturday.
Loyola women’s volleyball will hold its annual Girl Scout Day Clinic following the 11 a.m. match against Martin Methodist on September 6th in the University Sports Complex. The match time has been changed from the originally set time of 2 p.m. to 11 a.m.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams both earned a top five ranking in the Southern States Athletic Conference cross country preseason coaches’ poll. The Wolf Pack women’s team was picked third while the men’s team earned a fourth place ranking.

Brett Simpson announced that Sam Brock has joined the staff as full time rugby coach. Brock, who previously was a part time coach with the Wolf Pack rugby club team, will be charged with launching a women’s rugby program while growing the men’s squad.
