Fifty years ago, Loyola basketball teams of the 1960s played some of the best teams in the country. Not only did they become a solid team on the court, they became one off the court as well.
Loyola University New Orleans Athletic Department will be hosting the 17th Annual Wolf Pack Golf Tournament on Friday, April 11th at Audubon Park. The event will start with a noon lunch followed by a 1:00 p.m. tee off.
Loyola University New Orleans set two school records on Saturday at the Southern Mississippi Invitational at the USM Track and Field and Soccer Complex.
Loyola used a walk off single from Cullins with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th to take game 1 from Spring Hill College 2-1. The Wolf Pack fell 9-3 in game 2 at Segnette Field on Saturday afternoon.
Loyola took a 1-0 lead in the second inning but Spring Hill College fought back to win game one of the three game baseball set 5-1 on Friday evening at Segnette Field.

Loyola baseball team will continue their 7 game homestand this weekend as they face off with Spring Hill. They will play 1 game on Friday, March 14th starting at 6 p.m and close the series with a doubleheader slated for 1 p.m. on Saturday at Segnette Field.
